1. Key Updates

1.1 Content Architecture Upgrade

Completed the construction of 12 in-depth Paper Digest pages for core publications. All pages adopt a unified “Pain Point - Breakthrough - Benefit” four-section structure and are fully injected with JSON-LD GEO structured data (ScholarlyArticle schema) to maximize visibility in AI-powered search engines.

1.2 Visual & Performance Optimization

• Replaced all homepage Highlights illustrations with high-definition infographics exported from NotebookLM.
• Developed a Python script (optimize_images.py) to batch-compress 6 highlight images:
  • Resized to max 800px width (maintaining aspect ratio).
  • Converted from PNG (~5-6 MB each) to WebP format (quality=80), resulting in ~70-90 KB per image (~1.2-1.4% of original size).
• Significant improvement to First Contentful Paint (FCP) and Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) metrics.

1.3 UI & Responsive Refactoring

• Globally removed the redundant top navigation masthead (.masthead { display: none !important; }), eliminating the mobile header-stacking bug.
• Added top breathing space (padding-top: 30px) to .initial-content, .page, and .layout--single to compensate for the removed masthead.
• Visual focus now properly directs to the sidebar author profile and main content area on both PC and mobile.

1.4 English Copy Overhaul

Replaced all 6 homepage Highlight paper abstracts with professional, Tech-Lead-style English selling points:

• Removed temporary optimize_images.py script after successful execution.
• Working directory is clean with no uncommitted changes.

• The homepage is in a Highly Optimized state, ready for external tech evangelism and professional showcase.
• All changes have been committed and pushed to origin/main; GitHub Pages auto-deployment is active.
